Great quality - but be careful of fit 4.7.2016
Like all Noveske products I've used, the construction and finish are excellent -- far better than the generic or standard Colt end plates I've used. The trouble for me is that the lug is just slightly too far away from the tube centerline to drop into the lug hole in the receiver. I'm sure this is because the end plate is made to exactly the spec dimension with zero tolerance. This would make for a fit with zero movement... if it actually fit. I tried it on two different lower receivers -- a Sun Devil billet lower and a Sig M400 lower, and three different mil spec buffer tubes. No joy. The lug is a thousandth or two too far away from centerline. As a result I ended up using a not-so-nicely-finished generic end plate and my very-nicely-finished high-dollar Noveske sits unused in my spare parts bin.
Note that the generic end plates don't use a round lug. They're squared off on top and bottom to eliminate the interference problem you get from stacked parts tolerances. Since the Noveske has to accommodate a QD fitting, it has to be round. It probably fits perfectly on some lowers. In my case, on my project Sun Devil lower, it just won't fit without some machining.

The first Noveske endplate I received was perfect. Smooth and no machine markings. I was so impressed by it, I ordered another one. I would give this a five star rating if not for the second Noveske endplate I received. The second one was a different shade of grey (no problem, I can deal with that). However, the machining and finish around the edges were rough (typical of other cheaper endplates). It had pit-like roughness on the edges.
Essentially its like playing the lottery. You might get a perfect one or a less than perfect. Still a quality product that performs its function as an endplate and allowing the qd swivel to attach.
