Introducing the newest addition to the EGW lineup; our Hunter series picatinny scope mount. EGW saw the need for a shorter, lighter, heavy duty, picatinny scope mount and this is what they came up with. After countless hours of prototyping and testing, the Hunter mount was born. Featuring: 7075 T6 aluminum for an extremely durable yet lightweight construction. Type III hardcoat anodizing protects the mount from whatever nature can throw at it. Chamfered edges provide a snag free hunt. A compact overall length sheds 15% of its weight compared to our other Heavy Duty mounts. Due to the change in which receivers have #6 and #8 screws from Savage, EGW recommends you remove and measure one of the screws prior to purchasing this scope mount. This will ensure that you receive the correct screws necessary for your specific application. Some Savage guns (like the .338 Lapua or 110 BA) require 8-40 screws. EGW now has mounts drilled for #8 screws available for all MOAs. They also have a #8 Drill Out Kit available for customers who would like to drill the mounts out themselves. This mount is drilled for and provided with 6-48 Hex Head screws. EGW recommends reviewing their listing below for predrilled #8 mounts if you require #8 screws. Their 8-40 and 6-48 screws utilize the same head design, which allows them to use the same countersink in all of their mounts. If you purchased a mount with the incorrect screws, you can purchase the #8 Drill Out Kit. It is also compatible with the Stevens Long Actions. The round back on this mount will accommodate rounded receivers, and guns that have an accu-trigger. Savages without an accu-trigger will require our flat back mount (listed separately). This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides making it ambidextrous. EGW recommends measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions they have published. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. EGW one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. EGW machines these in our shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. Installation: EGW recommendS 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately). Tato montáž NEpasuje na model 212. Montáže EGW Savage budou fungovat s jakoukoli puškou Savage s dlouhým akcí a zaobleným zadním výřezem. Je také kompatibilní s dlouhými akcemi Stevens. Zaoblená zadní část této montáže umožňuje použití zaoblených přijímačů a zbraní s accu-triggerem. Pušky Savage bez accu-triggeru budou vyžadovat naši plochou montáž (uvedenou samostatně).
Tato montáž je standardně dodávána s zkosením na obou stranách, což ji činí ambidextrous. EGW doporučuje změřit rozteč otvorů ve vašem přijímači, aby se potvrdilo, že odpovídá zveřejněným rozměrům.
