In recent years, the SP-01 Shadow has taken the competition circuit by storm. In USPSA Production Division, CZ pistols are now used by twice as many top-level competitors than any other maker. Given that popularity, it was high time to up the ante. Starting from scratch, CZUB engineers took the best features of the original Shadow and improved upon them. More than two years later, we’re seeing the fruits of their efforts. With a higher beavertail and undercut trigger guard, the shooter’s hand is able to be as close to the bore axis as possible. With a contoured slide, the majority of the reciprocating mass is also centered on the bore, equating to less muzzle flip. Increased weight at the dust cover/rail also helps keep the muzzle down. The Shadow 2’s swappable mag release has an adjustable, extended button with three settings to allow shooters to set it in the spot most comfortable for them. Best of all, new trigger components give smooth DA and crisp, clean SA while drastically reducing trigger reset. A hardy nitride finish coats the entire pistol, leaving it nearly impervious to corrosion, with an Urban Grey Polycoat on the frame. Thin black aluminum grips have healthy checkering to match the fine front and backstrap checkering of the pistol itself. Sitting atop the slide are a set of target sights — fiber optic on front and a serrated, black HAJO rear (click adjustable for elevation, drift adjustable for windage).

CZ USA CZ SHADOW 2 9MM 4.89 BBL 17RD GREY 806703912554 V posledních letech si pistole SP-01 Shadow získala bouřlivou popularitu v soutěžním okruhu. V divizi Production USPSA nyní používá pistole CZ dvakrát více špičkových soutěžících než jakýkoliv jiný výrobce. Vzhledem k této popularitě bylo načase zvednout laťku. Inženýři společnosti CZUB začali od nuly a vzali to nejlepší z původního modelu Shadow a vylepšili to. Více než dva roky později vidíme výsledky jejich práce. Díky vyššímu hřbetu rukojeti a podřezané spoušťové stráži může být ruka střelce co nejblíže k ose hlavně. Konturovaný závěr znamená, že většina pohyblivé hmoty je rovněž soustředěna na ose hlavně, což vede k menšímu výkyvu hlavně. Zvýšená hmotnost u krytu prachu/kolejničky také pomáhá udržet hlaveň dolů. Vyměnitelné zásobníkové tlačítko Shadow 2 má nastavitelné, prodloužené tlačítko se třemi nastaveními, které umožňují střelcům nastavit ho na místo, které je pro ně nejpohodlnější. Ale to nejlepší je, že nové komponenty spouště poskytují hladký DA a ostrý, čistý SA, zatímco drasticky snižují reset spouště. Odolná nitridová povrchová úprava pokrývá celou pistoli, čímž ji činí téměř nepřístupnou korozi, s Urban Grey Polycoat na rámu. Tenké černé hliníkové střenky mají silnou rybinu, která odpovídá jemnému rybinování přední a zadní části pistole. Na vrchu závěru jsou umístěna cílová mířidla - vláknová optika vpředu a serrated, černý HAJO zadní (klikově nastavitelný pro elevaci, drift nastavitelný pro vítr).
