Another great kit (22.2.2010)
Purchased this kit as I have been assembling my own AR, and I must say the first AR i've ever owned. I mistakenly bought a commercial Magpul stock and took a long time to find a commercial buffer tube/kit. This kit is perfect. Installed in a few seconds. Well, a few minutes as I installed it incorrectly the first time but watchings Brownells video's made it easy to correct my mistake.

I've since fired 200+ rounds out of my custom AR and the buffer/tube/stock have all worked properly.

No complaints. Everything in the kit is flawless. However, make sure you are ordering the correct kit. There IS a difference between the commercial and the Mil-spec kits. Make sure you know what stock you have so you order the right tube.

The buffer tube and mounting kit seems okay but the receiver plate will not work on any of my lowers because it has an oval shaped alignment "button" instead of a round one. I have never seen an oval hole in a lower receiver before. Now I have to send it back and see if I can get the correct one.
