Relocates the grip so just the tip of your finger is on the trigger. Gives precise trigger control for more accurate shot placement. Adapter fits between the grip and frame without alteration to the rifle. Moves the grip .75" (19mm) to the rear.

I HAD NEVER USED OR EVEN SEEN THIS BEFORE UNTIL A FRIEND OF MINE HAD ONE ON HIS AR-15. AFTER SHOOTING HIS RIFLE AND THEN SHOOTING MINE I COULD TELL A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. IT MAKES FOR A BETTER FIT AND GRIP OF THE RIFLE AND PLACES YOUR INDEX FINGER IN THE RIGHT POSITION ON THE TRIGGER.

This is just the thing for putting the trigger where it needs to be. Kind of looks cheap on the gun but improves trigger feel. I prefer this over all the other grips that I have tried.

The stock DPMS grip fit like a glove but some fitting was needed to fit a Hogue grip.This was no big deal and I love the way it feels.Will be putting it on all AR type rifles I own.

This product makes the rifle feel so much better.It blends in to the point that you might not notice it until you pick up the rifle and then you will want one.

3/4" adapter is a winner (5.4.2012)

totally changes the entire feel and balance of the black rifle,and in my opinion, a very good way.i have had to float my hand previously to get the correct trigger pull.this product solves that.easy to install.i utilized a hogue grip which required fitting of the adapter.simple to do though,using a bench grinder to lower the pad on top of the adapter to get the grip to fit like a glove.deburred and installed.tight fit.great product for all ar's.

Long Hands/Long Fingers? BUY This! (7.4.2012)

I'm 6'5" tall with long slender hands/fingers. I can palm basketballs. It's hard for me to get my guns to fit right without lots of modifications, and I've always had problems with proper placement of my trigger finger. I just got done adding this item to my AR15 and the end result was EXACTLY what I was wanting! For the first time ever, I don't have to get "creative" with the position of my shooting hand just so my trigger finger contacts the trigger the way I want. Now, I get perfect placement of my trigger finger, no muss, no fuss.

100% plastic (26.6.2012)

The only negative, but a very important one, is reliability. This product is completely plastic. If you are putting it on a safe queen or the occasional range shooter, then be happy. If you train with your AR, then imagine the plastic threads getting stripped, and your grip coming off during training. I was cautious just on the install because of the plastic. If this was aluminum, it would rate 5 stars. If it had metal inserts to thread the hardware into, it would receive 4 stars. Bottom line, this is meant for the bench rest shooter at the range, not the cop or soldier (that has to know their gear won't fail)

Perfect for Large Hands (18.12.2015)

I have size 12 hands, take an XXL glove ~ and this works great so that my trigger finger falls right on the first pad like it's supposed to. Agreed that it looks odd on the rifle but who cares? It's made from plastic similar to Magpul stuff so if you can handle that then the durability should be similar.
