The PMAG D-50 EV9 remains true to these qualities, while also significantly increasing the capacity of Magpul’s PMAG® 35 EV9™ – CZ Scorpion® EVO3/3+ magazine. The D-50 EV9 is a lightweight, 50-round, 9x19mm Parabellum drum magazine designed for large-format pistols and pistol-caliber carbines that feed from CZ Scorpion EVO4 pattern magazines. Incorporating many of the proven features of its 5.56 and 7.62 predecessors, the unique drum configuration keeps the height of the magazine manageable, allowing for prone firing and easy storage in a design that cuts down on time-critical reloads. For easy loading, it includes a ratcheting loading lever that removes tension from the spring. To keep track of your available firepower Magpul included a rounds-remaining rear window and a high-visibility follower. Magpul also incorporated an innovative bolt hold-open feature that reliably locks the bolt back on the last round on those firearms compatible with standard CZ Scorpion EVO 3/3+ magazine followers.
