Plenty Of Functionality Without Adding Weight

Slide on AR-15 buttstock is made from a military grade plastic that is impact and shatter resistant, yet retains an unsurpassed strength to weight ratio. A large, water tight, rear storage compartment comes with customizable foam blocks to keep small items organized and rattle free. The pivoting compartment door utilizes large, textured buttons that are easy to push, even when wearing heavy gloves. Toe of the butt plate angles away from the shooter, allowing you to keep contact between the stock and your chest when moving from low ready to target acquisition. Upper portion of stock offers an improved cheek weld over the standard M4 buttstock. Stock has three sling slot options plus forward and rear quick detach mounts.

SPECS: Reinforced polyamide, Black. 7-5/16" (18.6cm) long, 5-1/4" (13.3cm) high, 1-¾" (4.4cm) wide. 9 oz. (255.1g) wt. Fits Mil-Spec buffer tubes.

Greatest Stock You've Never Heard of!!! (7.3.2013)

I've always run either Magpul or A1/A2 stocks on my rifles. After reading about this stock and checking out the stats, I liked that it had so much storage capability while retaining a light weight. All I can say is: WOW! Amazing. This thing locks up tighter than any Magpul I've ever owned, is super light, feels very very sturdy (bombproof even), has more than enough storage for anything that I'd need to put in there, and has the absolute best cheek weld ever! I purchased both the Magpul STR and ACS and while they were sturdy and provided ample storage, were also very wide which made for an awkward cheek weld. This thing is barely wider than a Magpul CTR but will hold just as much as the STR! Unfrickingbelievably cool. Color me impressed. I will definitely look into more stock options (ha!) from this company and I would highly suggest that you try one for yourself. If MFT keeps making products like this, they're going to be a huge success! I forgot to mention - these are made in the USA and carry a lifetime warranty!!! Perfect.

Lightweight, feature-laden, silk-smooth. (4.4.2013)

Like many modern stocks, this stock encapsulates the end of the receiver extension tube. With that extra bit of stock at the rear you obviously can't collapse the overall length of the rifle as much as with a factory stock. Fully closed this stock measures about 2" longer from the rear of the receiver than my old flat-back Colt stock. On the upside, fully extended this stock gives you a full 15" of trigger pull (measured trigger to butt plate), which is perfect if you ever wanted something longer than an A2 length of pull.

This stock slides like a dream on my Colt tube. Currently I have it on a 6-position UTG tube. The fit on the UTG is a bit more snug, but the stock still moves without a struggle and it is not leaving any scratch marks on the tube. With the UTG tube I only have to pull the stock back to the second notch for an A1 pull length (like my old Colt) or the third notch for an A2 pull length. As mentioned before, all the way out and this stock gives me more pull than I will ever need. The cheek piece on this stock extends further forward than the factory unit, eliminating snagged beard hairs. I love that!

This stock has more sling mounting options than I have seen on just about any other stock. It has three slots to thread a sling through as well as two anti-rotation QD sockets on each side. The butt plate has one of the best latch designs I have ever seen. I can't conceive of any way it could be opened accidentally, yet it can be opened effortlessly on demand, even with gloves on. The included modular foam insert that helps you keep stored things from rattling even has a pull tab on it so you can fish it out fast and without frustration.

I have yet to see a stock as well thought out as this one has been. It is lightweight, well put together, and worth every penny spent.

Stock looks amazing, plenty of storage in the back, and has a great feel to it. Only thing, and most important, is that it is hardly mounted on my buffer tube. It is mil spec but not fitting my mil spec tube. EXTREMELY tight fit and I am actually damaging my buffer tube just trying to get the thing off. Contacted MFT about this and waiting to hear back.

Other than not fitting properly... great looking and sturdy stock! >.>

Take a hike Magpul (30.3.2014)

Before MFT I am a Magpul fan. I have almost every stock and pistol grip they have produced. Dont get me wrong, Magpul do produce great furniture with great styling but their fit to the gun specially their stocks simply dont even comes close to any of the MFT stocks, even those ones with so called tightening lever. Feature for feature I choose MFT hands down now that I have tried their products. Their stocks are lighter, stronger, very confortable and most of all tighter, no wiggle, no rattle with large easy to access compartments, just beautiful perfectly fitted stocks that is mazingly affordable. Both my Vz.58 and AR are now equipped with MFT gear - goodbye Magpul.
